Shadow Constellation
1:1 Private Session

Shadow Work

What is Shadow?

In Jungian psychology 'the shadow'  is an unconscious aspect of the personality that the conscious ego does not identify in itself with. In other words, 'The Shadow' is part of our personality that we are not in touch with because it is unknown.

Why should you work with shadow?

Shadow is a healthy, natural part of a whole that was cast aside, ignored, shamed, or repressed over time.

It usually shows itself in something we admire or reject in others, which can prevent us from fully experiencing ourselves and others.

When we integrate shadow aspects of ourselves, we essentially retrieve parts of our wholeness into a felt experience and thus are able to have a fuller, more fulfilling life and intimate connections.

The aim of Shadow Work is to bring clarity, acceptance and relief to difficult emotions and situations.

 What is Shadow Constellation?

Family & Systemic Constellations, developed by Bert Hellinger, is a powerful healing modality which views many difficulties as originating in unresolved inter-generational trauma.

In a 'Shadow Constellation' session the aim is to shed light and integrate parts of the self that are hidden and want to be seen.

By using a series of questions, we identify a shadow (or a golden shadow), embody it and give it a representation (via an online tool).

From there we are off on a mini journey of discovery.

The facilitation is gentle and designed to help you witness and explore while staying connected with an embodied, present experience.

These session can be fascinating and fun, as well as deep and transformative.
